Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving any reason. This page explains how that works at Dream Decor Supply. It is in addition to, and does not replace, our return and refund policy, which gives you 30 days.
How long you have
You have 14 days from the day you, or someone you nominate, physically receives the goods. Where an order is delivered in several parcels, the period runs from the day the last item arrives.
How to withdraw
Tell us clearly before the 14 days are up. An email is enough. Send it to support@dreamdecorsupply.com with:
- your order number
- the items you are withdrawing from
- the date you ordered and the date you received the goods
- your name and address
You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. We will confirm receipt of your notice in writing.
Sending the goods back
Once you have told us, send the goods back without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of that notice. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Please wait for our return instructions before shipping anything, so it reaches the right address.
You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function, in other words beyond the sort of inspection you would make in a shop.
Your refund
We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard option, we refund the standard cost rather than the upgrade.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you supply proof that you have sent them, whichever comes first. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and you will not be charged a fee for the refund itself.
Where the right does not apply
The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain goods, including items made to your specification or clearly personalised, sealed goods unsealed after delivery that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, and goods that by their nature become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
